ASLP)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:54px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives of the BASLP Program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list check-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;Function as audiologists and speech-language pathologists in different work settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Manage speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders across life span counsel persons with disorders of communication and their family members rehabilitate persons with speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Prevent speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders liaise with professionals in allied fields and other stake holders implement public awareness and education program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Undertake advocacy measures on behalf of and for persons with speech language and hearing disorders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:54px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affiliation:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list check-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;Affiliated to Bengaluru City University, Ambedkar veedhi campus and recognized by Government of Karnataka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Rehabilitation council of India, New Delhi (Awaiting Inspection)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:54px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list check-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;The candidate applying for admission to BSLPA course should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent \/ two years of Pre-University\/Pre-Degree examination conducted by the Pre-University Board of Education of Government of respective State.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;The applicant\/candidate should have studied: Physics, Chemistry &amp; Biology \/ Mathematics \/ Computer Science \/ Statistics \/ Electronics \/ Psychology\/ Home Science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Lateral entry to 2nd year of BSLPA is permitted for candidates who meet the following criteria as per Bangalore University rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;successfully passed Diploma in Hearing-Language-Speech (DHLS) revised course from any RCI recognized training institute with science background as specified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Two years of work experience in the field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Age limit:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidate shall not be older than 25 years on the 1st July of the year of admission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration of the course:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:44px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The program shall be of 4 academic years including 1 year of internship and should be completed within six years from the date of admission. Students will not be able to appear for University theory exam if they do not pass in their practical, internal assessment or clinical component.
